Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is indicated to treat a tooth with a compromised nerve. A nerve can become inflamed for a variety of reasons, including a large cavity infecting the nerve, drainage of the nerve causing an abscess, or a fracture or trauma to the tooth causing the nerve to die. Root canal therapy may also be recommended for cases of external or internal root resorption, if caught in time.

Root canals are not as scary as they used to be! We have more ways now than ever before to keep you comfortable and can get you out of pain efficiently. Depending on the complexity and formation of the tooth’s anatomy, a root canal may instead be completed by a specialist.
